Starting week 5

Well I have absolutely had it with flaky fish, eggs and Tuna for protein sources but I will stick with the surgeons prescribed 7 weeks of food items I am permitted. I was on a plateau for 7 or 8 days and weigh 315 . I cannot wait to weigh 299 or less. Patience was running short for a few days. I realized its in part due to me being concerned with coworkers comments etc when I return to work. Fuck em! They all said I didn't need it anyhow lol. I am quite studly lol. Just kiddin' the big man has to boost himself up at times. Nothing I have consumed, if chewed and eaten slowly has disagreed with me. I have not eaten any high fat foods or high sugar foods. Looking up recipes for fish and thinking I'll buy some Panko Japanese bread crumbs for this awesome baked tilapia recipe I found at bariatriceating .com I cannot get enough sex. I think it may be my new transfer addiction. " Mr. Happy" is always ready for duty and and the 44 pound weight loss feels likeI lost 75 pounds with regards to sex. Thats one way to keep a man motivated!!!! That being said I did feel a little down today and was grieving the loss of food friends like this cookie my wife had at an educational seminar today ( a frosted sugar cookie ). Damn. I'll keep fighting the good fight.

1 week Post - Op

Tolerating protein shakes, fluids and staying well hydrated. Injected myself with the final dose of Lovenox this AM. Thank God. Nothing like sticking yourself in an already tender stomache Yuck. I advance to cottage cheese, Farina, oatmeal, mashed potatoes today and am going shopping soon with Anna. BM number 2 today. Really miss food. Ya gotta be hungry when your lusting for cottage cheese! I've had NO complications thus far and feel a little better each day. STill surprised how quickly waves of fatigue wash over me though. Found a great blog with excellent recipes for my future culinary endeavors. I 've lost 29 pounds thus far 14 pounds pre op and 15 pounds in 1 week post op. Guess that happens when ya don't eat. Bought a CD , Killswitch Engage on EBAY last night . That band will be my workout music!!!
