I finally got a call today from Dr. Pender's office to schedule my "decision visit", it's scheduled for September 28th which is disappointing to me for some reason.... I guess I was expecting them to say "come on in tomorrow" lol.  The 28th just seems so far away and I was hoping surgery would be in October.. now I'm assuming this won't be possible.  I'm meeting the anthesiologist (which I'm sure I just misspelled) on the same day.   I was told this appt. can take several hours.. why?  That sounds strange.   Anyway, that's all I have for today, still haven't smoked... still want to- all the time.

I've finished all my preop appointments.  I'm waiting for the doctor's office to contact me to make my appointment for the "decision visit".  I'm pretty sure at that appointment they go over all my test results and evaluation results with me and I make a decision if I want the surgery and which surgery I want.... at that point they'll submit my case to my insurance company (which I have TriCare Prime- I've heard they usually approve it within a week).  They'll call me once again after that, letting me know I've been approved.   From there I'll make my third and final appointment with my surgeon and at that appointment they'll give me my surgery date. 
I'm not exactly sure why I need that 3rd appt. and why they can't just call me and say "hey you're approved, here's the date"... oh well, I'm not complaining, I'm just sooooo anxious!!!   The waiting game is never too fun.

I'm waiting for the 31st to get here for my psych appt.= my last appt. before my "decision vist".

I quit smoking.  This is my third day smoke free... and let me tell you, I want a cigarette soooooooooooo bad!  Hopefully this urge goes away soon, please!
