Well I am home and had my first nights "rest". Started out in my bed and it was comfortable until I had to get up. After the potty break I switched to my recliner. Woke up twice but nothing major. Just restless. Took a couple of sips of water and laid back down. This morning I am in a little pain but haven't had my morning jello bites yet. Hopefully some of the pain will subside after that. Don't want to take the pain medicine unless it is just unbearable.
Just ready to start the road to recovery.

Well I have had my RNY surgery 2 days ago. I just got home this afternoon and I am extremly sore. I have been reassured that the soreness will go away with the more activity I do.

I am so excited as I just got off the phone with a surgery date. My insurance approval was done in 2 days and Dr. Babineau's office called me to schedule. They set my surgery date for October 23rd. This will be only 3 days after I turn 50 so I will be able to start a new life by getting healthier. I am currently taking medications for high blood pressure and acid reflux. i hope to not be taking those much longer. I know it is not an overnight success but I am devloping a great support group to keep me uplifted. I go in on Oct. 14th for my pre-op physical and pictures. Right now I really don't like having my picture made but I am sure that will change.
I will look to those on here that have been there already that I will be able to drawn upon their experiences and strength.
