My name is Lisa & I had my gastric bypass on Aug 16/04 at CORI centre in Detroit. My surgeon was Dr. M. Wood. I had the micro pouch (roux en y). My starting weight was 310 pds. In the first year I lost 150 pds and have maintained that weight now for almost 5 yrs. I got pregnant in Aug/07 and gained 29pds during my pregnancy. I am currently at my pre-pregnancy weight of 165pds. I have had 2 tummy tucks. The first one was on July 13/06 and they removed 5 pds of skin. I had to have a revision on Jan 11/07 for about 2 more pounds of skin that was left. My lowest weight was 152pds which was Aug/06. I am hoping to lose another 10 pounds so I have a little room to play with. It's been a great journey and I'm hoping to meet & support all others who want to have this surgery and change thwir lives.
