Ok yesterday maked 6 months since surgery. I have lost just about 70 pounds. I am wearing a junior size 5. was about a size 15/17 before. Im feeling great, looking great and hope all of you are having success with your weightloss as well!

ok i had the rny nov.13th 2009. Its been 2 weeks and 2 days since surgery. I've lost 25 pounds so far. I'm not sure wut the average should be? I know everyone will be different. I saw the dr for post op 2 days ago, said all my lbas were good and to keep up the good work? So far i havent done any work, but i plan to start excersing today. (walking) Anyway thank u 2 all who have sent me kind messages. Good luck everyone! I can answer any questions if someone is looking for answers.Maybe i can help?

I was on my way out the door to sign my surgery consent forms when the phone rang and 8:32 am. It was my surgeons office calling to tell me that my surgery was cancelled because the Dr. was unaware that he was scheduled to be out of town that day? Unbelievable! This office cancelled my doctor appts 3 times this summer. May, june and july. But now my surgery? I accepted a rescheduled date of Nov. 13th. What else was i supposed to do? I didnt even get a 48 hour advanced notice! To add fuel to the fire I received 3 automated phone calls today reminding me of my Oct. 30th surgery . I also had a sarcastic voice mail message from one of the girls in the office telling me that i missed my 9am consent signing appt! She said I had until 4pm today to show up for my missed appt. I called her and said you obviously have NO communication in your office because my surgery was cancelled and I was told that someone would be calling me to rescedule the consent appt. She actually laughed? I am sooooo upset about this whole situation. All the arrangements that were made for the next couple of weeks have to be remade? I dont even know if it will be possible to get the help that i need because of the schedules that have to be rearranged for the new surgery date. I just needed to vent. I'm feeling over whelmed and sad.

I have been researching protein powders and drinks and vitamins on the web for a while. My surgery(rny) is Oct,30th. Any advice or preferences or opinions on these items would be helpful to me. Thank you ;o)
