A new me is emerging....

Words cannot explain the physical and emotional journey I have been on since my RNY with Dr. Joya in March. I am down 89 pounds and have gone from a size 22 to a size 12. The weight loss has not been hard and although I had to have my gallbladder out two weeks ago, I haven't experienced any other complications. I guess I never realized how much my weight affected who I was as a person and only now am I able to begin to appreciate what a life altering experience this has been. I've been off the website for a while (too busy living life!) and am back to touch base with everyone. My mother and one of my coworkers are now scheduling their surgeries in part because of the success I've had. What a beautiful thing this is.......
