I've been big all my life. Diet considerations were never discussed in my family.  Got teased about it in grade school and almost had it under control in high school until I dropped out in grade 9 and started working steady.  From this point on I kept on packing on the pounds until I got close to 400 pounds slowly over the years, then tying my shoes became difficult and so did walking, bending, working, getting in the car and most everything else.  Logic took hold and I realized that I had to do something drastic to get control so here I am with a new egg size stomach that I have to figure out how to live with.  I'm sure that I'll be able to come up with a plan that'll work for me eventually but for now I'll just stick with the Doctor's diet and see what happens but it ain't easy.  I am tempted to eat my fingernails but I'm certain that that would hurt my new stomach.  Oh well, one day at a time and maybe hanging out her will be a big help.  See you first Tuesday of the month at Hospice.
