Today I sit here in a hotel in San Antonio just 2 days post op of my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. I can not tell you in words just how pleased I am with the Dr. Alvarez and his staff. They treated me like I was very important and cared for me so much. Priscilla was my nurse whom took care of me and brought me anything I needed...from pain killers to blankets. This experience was something that I will never forget in my life. I made a life change that will payoff so soon! Susan, the patient coordinator, always answers her phone...and I called very frequently just because I was so nervous. She was so kind and ensured me that everything would be okay. I was lucky to have her travel with me to the facility. Also, I was lucky enough to travel with another patient, Lynn, whom also lived in the same area I lived! I guess Dr. Alvarez is becoming very popular.
