No regrets
Sep 11, 2007
My highest weight was 309 lbs. I joined a gym and began working out until I rupture an imbilical hernia and the trouble began. The doctors discovered diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, a cracked tail bone, and knee pain. The diabetes was killing me and I cried to get out of bed every day. After years of research, I decided to have the gastric bypass surgery. On January 13, 2005, my life began. My weight was 289 at the time of surgery. I am now down to 183 lbs. I no longer have diabetes, high blood pressure, my knees feel beter and the back pain has eased up. I no longer take any medication except for my vitamins.
