This is my first post. I will be having gastric bypass in 13 days. I'm doing my surgery with Dr. Nestor De La Cruz. I went to his seminar and he was very informative, so much so that I chose to do the surgery right then and there.

I wasn't always 'pleasantly plump' but within the last 10 years its just out of control.

I have been on the optifast diet for 4 days. Day 1 wasn't too bad but the rest have been a bit more trying. The shakes are great though. Way tastier than slimfast.

I've managed to get my psych, labs, and a few other things done. I have the cardio on thursday.

Its getting closer.
