~~**~~~Well it all started when I went to my nephews 4th birthday in september and seen my Aunt (Trish who is 4 months younger than me) and Boy did she look hot. She had lost about 90ish pounds. I kept asking my uncle(Danny) what she was doing and he said just eating less. WOW just eat less what will power. Then he said he was getting his gallbladder out before he has "the surgery" WHAT!!!!Mind You I have been trying for 3 years for my HMO to Approve Me but I was a "Health Fat Woman" per my PCP in Long Beach. Just as I was giving up hope My husband came home from work and said we can get a PPO now. Right ON!!! WLS here I come. ~~*Jan 19th 2006*~~ was our first appt with the same Dr team that my uncle and annt had. went great we stated the motion moving. We had the nutritionist appt on Jan 24th and then our Mental on feb 2.. Looking for the letter from ins saying yes. Nothing.......March 1 I'm approved March 3 Kevin( My Husband) approved. and that started the movement .sleep test, heart,blood, you name it we had it. ~~* April 9th 2006.*~~ I have my date 5-4-2006 My Husband and I are having the surgery on the same day. He is first. We are starting on our new life on the same day..... Life is strange!!! We have been Married for 15 years now. Our first wedding date was set for 5-4-91 ,but we couldn't wait so we moved it up to 2-2-91. When Heather came in the room and gave us that date we were floored 365 days, and she picks that one. We are just meant to do something on that date. ~~*April 15th 2006*~~ Well we have just 2 weeks the big day is coming. Now I have some questions. Like are they going to give us the same room? What shoud I take PJs, Sweats, Shorts???? I have no clue. Trying to stock my House with liquid food with out putting my Poor Son through the Liquid diet too. **** Had a big scare this Last week at work Just was feeling sorry for myself Who would care if something happend to me well I know that my Family would but would anyone at work care. Well they let me know they would. made me feel good to hear that*** ~~*April 22 2006*~~ Well there is two weeks to go. Getting a litte scared Not for me but for my husband. He has never been under before. I have Just a little scared for him. I have been looking around on the Message boards to get some questions answered. It have been working. Started filling out all the paper work for my time off of work. I would like to get back to work ASAP, but from the mesage boards everyone is out for at least a good month..... I dont know if I could be out that long I would get board..... Untill next week... ~~*April 29th*~~ Well Just under a week to go so ready for this My last dinner at Olive Garden is tonight with my DH. We start our liquid diet on Monday. Tuesday is our Pre-Admit to the hospital and Wed is our Bowel clean out day. Then WOW thursday the Surgery my DH is first then Me Wow it is coming up so fast... ~~*May 2 2006*~~ Today We had our pre-op stuff done ekg, lab, xray ect... Nice Hospital very friendly staff, and now just the wait two more days>>> Wow this is just crazy three years and I'm here.. Have been on a liquid die"it" for two days now and I'm wanting something to chew like a big fat omelette from Crazy Ottos (it is a diner here in Lancaster, Ca) Well there going to miss my money there...LOL Kevin my DH I having his surgery at 7:30 in the am I'm set for the next opening 90min-120min after???? I dont know. Well see ya on the loosing side..... May 4th- Hi Im one of Wendys friends and I will be updating her profile until shes able to type and get online and all that good stuff. Wendy got out of surgery and did GREAT! Shes a trooper! From what I was told she had no major complications, and everything went well. May 7th- Hi its Wendy's lil buddy again. :0) Wendy got to go home today and well everything went good, and from what I have been told shes doing great. Her husband did ahve a few complications and Wendy will be spending some time with him to make sure his is ok etc. Due to his complications he was not able to come home with Wendy, and shes of course worried about his recovery. Because I am just a freind I wont disclsoe her husbands complications out of respect for both him and Wendy, and all of our wishes are with both of them from my home to theres. ~~*May 7th 06 *~~ Wow Thanks to Sahar My Little Mystery friend who has been updateing my little site.. Lov YA >> We are home....Home is a great place to be after being in the hospital the smell and just wanting my direct tv love my Nascar go #20. Well my Husband had a hick-up the doctor found a hernia in his esophagus had to take care of that before the bypass could take place 3 hours later is was my turn. Boy was I scared for him but the doctor came and told me he was fine and I went on with mine. Tell me that this is not weard our anesphesiologist was Dr Payne LOL how funny is that. We had no payne going in but after boy my morhpine wasnot flowing right and my pain was a 20 wow but after Kevin (DH) was out of ICU he came in my room and we took care of other. And still are .... oh ya down to 297 as of today !!! ~~*May 9th 2006*~~ Ok what is up with the no sleeping I cant sleep Oh my tired but when i go to lay down I cant get to sleep. I cant drink enough water to keep my sanity I know I have to drink drink drink. but my baby tummy gets so full so fast and then i want to vomit. What the HELL Im still trying to get used to my new little friend and just feeling a little scared... ~~*May 15th 2006*~~ Today was my first day back to work. was off for about 14 days. WOW was it hard just trying to drink water and get my walking in. It is a good thing that I work with some great people who are there for me. ~~*May 24th 2006*~~ ok Before surgery I was a up a adam person now I cant seem to get up and get moving. I'm Trying to dring my water and eat the food that I'm working on this month but it is not working. Going back to work fast after surgery just might have been a bad thing. I feel sleepy all the time going to bed at 7:30pm feels great but I'm, so sleepy. I need this to get better. The pounds have slowed coming off and I'm just not the happiest hopeful to get on track soon>>>>> ~~*June 4th 2006*~~ Well I made a hole after surgery. With all te wants and needs. Found out that just cause you thought you likes something in the passed you sure don't like it now... Wow I would love me a Del Taco All Beef Burrito with cheese ans sour cream with alot of hot sause but now that just makes me sick to smell it! Now chicken is the same way.. real hard to get that down. So on a Normal day I will eat. Breakfast...... a Milk Smoothy With strawberrys and bannans Lunch........ Some kind of lunch meat with cheese Dinner....... Seafod Lobster, Shrimp, that is the best.... snacks sf fudge bar yum yum...... Well that is it for now oh ya down to 282 FROM 310 IN A MONTH ~~*June 26 2006*~~Well just got back from Las Vegas with My Wonderfull Husband. We had a great weekend. We are losing at a good pase per our Doctor. I will be going to see my Dad next Month he is not doing good so I'll spend 4 days in Kanasas that will be hard he loves to eat that is part of where I got my Eating From. well Untill next time...... LoVe and KiSs ~~*July 20, 2006*~~Ok so back from Dad's house he looks so bad not alot of O2 there at all. Betty(step-mom) is taking such good care of him. I know It just hurts her so much to see him like that. Well this AM got on the scale it said 258 WOW. Cool right on !!!!!! Kevin DH is down to 295 from 363 look at him wow..... We are doing good I think He goes to the DR today I go next Week.... C-Ya later. ~~*Aug 4, 2006*~~Wow today is my Mom birthday Happy B-day MOM!I'm having a hard time with my period even more now that i has this surgery. Since I can't take any hard core meds. Now only liquid Tylenol It is not working. and Liquid Tylenol with cod makes me sick. So it have been 3 big months today.. I'm down almost 60 lbs. My doc said that it good. I'm Happy and moving better. ~~*Aug 20 2006*~~Last Thursday I had a bad tummy pain went home from work called the Dr he put me in the hospital doinga upper GI yuck! thought my tummy sprung a leak. The out come good no leak But Bad pain still dont know why? I started to feel better late Friday. I will see the Dr on the 24th of this Month.... so tata for now... ~~*Sept 7 2006*~~ WOW this past week was the best I got to Meet Tony Stewart #20 Home Depot Chevy GO TONY! That just rocked he is so cute WOW. I have Lost 70 pounds now at this point feeling great and looking not so bad if you ask My Husband. Now I have to Look Forward to going to another Nascar Race. Love that. ~~*Sept 18 2006*~~ Today just sucks went home sick from work and just feel bad sick head, stuffy just would like to look and feel better soon. ~*Oct 12 2006*~~ Wow today i got on the scale 222 and when I went to lock it in it said 225 what the f*@* so i'm just keeping the 222 i Just like it better. But My Hubby is looking good You have to seen him wow over 100 lbs down so proud of him.
