I was wanting to know where you are in your case right now. I've been hit w/ something last minute also. My insurer from my job isn't paying for my surgery. Which is no problem, another insurance company is. All of a sudden I'm hearing they wont even give me disability either. And even though my gastric by-pass includes a gastrostomy and a vagotomy they still will not pay for it. EVEN THOUGH THOSE 2 THINGS ARE A COVERED BENEFIT! The chief administrator from ITPE claims that since it HAS SOMETHING TO DO W/ GASTIC BY-PASS SURGERY, they won't cover it. I CAN'T BE OFF FROM WORK W/OUT DISABILITY. I DON'T WANT TO RESCHEDULE MY SURGERY. IT TOOK 6 MONTHS TO GET THIS FAR! Can you help me? Do you have any ideas? Have you appealed your insurance yet? Please get back w/ me. William I am sorry that you were so close and then they realize that they made dumb mistakes. Don't give up! It will happen and I'll be thinking about you. I'm originally from Athens, Ga (hubby is in the Army)... man do I miss Georgia!!

William...Bill...Billy...now...I've just got to say like the guy in the movie "Head of State"...THAT AIN'T RIGHT!!!!! What reason did they give for saying they don't cover it and had that previously told you that they do cover it? It's puzzling how they could just out of the clear blue sky decide that no...they're not going to approve you. You're in my thoughts and prayers during this struggle you're going through and I hope you're able to keep your Oct. 1st date!
