windia
Last year I weighed over 565lbs.
Over the last year or so, I've been focused on my wellbeing including dealing with previously undiagnosed issues (pcos and thyroid disease). I've lost a lot of weight on my own but I have no desire to be thin. I'm a firm believer that fat people are valid and allowed to exist. The reason why I'm pursuing weight loss further and this surgery is to ensure that I keep the weight off for the rest of my life. Though I am still young, I have carried close to 600lbs on my body and my knee and ankle give me a lot of pain daily. Whenever I need it, in order to qualify for a knee replacement I must be under 300lbs. I've worked hard to mend my toxic relationship with both my body and food, and I'm hoping that having this surgery will help me down the road to peace.
