Rudolf Weiner

"Prof. Weiner gave me my life back! I had my original surgery in May 2003. Three years later, I had gained a lot of weight & felt like a total failure. It turns out my stomach had not been transected as I had been told. My staple line had broken & I was again using my entire stomach. Prof. Weiner was the angel that shared this "good news" with me! He was so sweet telling me that it wasn't my fault. He took on the very difficult revison surgery (those are Dr. Pomhoff's words). I'm so thankful for this second chance. And even more grateful that he tells me at every visit that the weight gain wasn't my fault..it was surgical failure. I need to hear that!"

Krankenhaus Sachsenhausen

"You must remember that it's a German hospital. Things are a little different from in the States. But I foudn the whole experience very good. I LOVE that they let you sleep through the night without constant interruptions!!! Definitely more restful & quiet than American hospitals."
