"Dr. Lewis Porter is not on the list even though the system says he is. He is a very intelligent, laid-back person that shows how much he cares about his patients. He is very thorough and will reject you if he feels this surgery is not right for you, if you are not dedicated to making it work, or haven't done your research. Office staff is pleasant. Appointments are as scheduled and you aren't kept waiting forever. This is a very structured program with surgeon followup and post surgery classes required. He stresses that this is MAJOR surgery and makes sure you know what it's really like. I vote for surgical competence being the most important but Dr. Porter is also pleasant to deal with."
