3 years already!! My life has been so busy I haven't been able to keep up with everything. I'm so eternally grateful for the ability to get this second chance at life. What a Godsend it's been! I'm able to bike ride, walk 4 miles (and without even breaking a sweat!) I 'like' me now. Something I could never of said about that heavy lady. But to be sure, it wasn't just all about weight loss surgery. The years of therapy preceding the wls combined with it to give me THE greatest results.
I'm now wearing size 8 and 10's. I was in size 52 stretch pants I had to order from catalogues, I couldn't even find them to fit me in stores anywhere.
I've had an umbilical hernia repair combined with abdominoplasty, and I've had the first part of my lower body lift. The inner thighs, the butt and outer hips, (saddle bags) are to be done this April 30) Dr DiNick is just the BEST surgeon. He doesn't use mesh for hernia repairs, he weaves the muscles together, the result is sculptured abs. I should lose 7-10 lbs with the next surgery which will put me in the exact weight range I want to be in.
I'm going to attempt to upload some before and after pics today. I now have a wardrobe of bikini's it's so difficult to decide which color to wear. lol
