hello everyone i hope everyone is doing good i have not been on here in a while i have been busy. my soon to be two year old keep me pretty busy. Plus i got promoted at work so i have been working long hours there. It now been a little over three years since my Gastric bypass and only 7 months since i had to have my 2 surgery on my stomach i had a some scar tissuse that ended up attach to my pouch and cause a little problem but all is good now. Friends still ask me if after all i been through ( iv iron treatment a total of 3 surgery ) if i would do it again and i say to them in a heartbeat. This year is my first time in over 5 years that i'm taking a family vaction ( disney) that i will be able to keep up with my kids ride all the rides with out having to walk with a cane take rest stops. I thank GOD everyday for him giving me the strength to call Adirondack Bariatric Center and for giving me the greates doctors my surgeon Michael Hill, and Edward Hixson and all the people that work there to make me feel like i was somebody not just a fat person and understanding. But to get back on track everyday i still have to watch what i eat my weight is a little high 153 but i getting back on my exercising program. so i hope by summer i'll be back to 135 and tone. I still have a lot of lose skin under the are and the legs ( hate that ) and my stomach one day i hope to be able to afford the skin to be taking off (tummytuck) but until then i'll keep trying to work it off. I still on someday forget that im no long a big person and other days i look at my old pictures a say wow i don't even remember being that big because when i was big i never really saw how much my weight was. Don't know if that makes sence but that the best way i can explain it. sooo that is my update and if your reading this thinking should i have this surgery or not please consider everything it is hard and it is a big life change and people around you will be affected. But it is also a last option  for like me to have a healthier life.

IN Feb. 2010 i had a health 9.4 pound baby boy... i did lose a lot of blood and i have been trying to bring my levels back up with no luck he is now almost 8 month and i schedule for another SURGERY i have a fistula that goes from my pouch to my old stomach and i'm in pain when i eat .... i get so sick after and in so much pain i'm in tears and my stomach fills up with air that i look pregnant. On 10-20-10 i go to schedule my next surgery and i will need a blood transfusion too.. this time they don't know if they can due it laparscopicly or if the will be cutting open... i guess i will find out soon enough...

Well I'm now 10 months out and just found out that I'm pregnant.  I will be calling my ob in the morning so i just wanted to let you all know... I'll keep you all updated talk to you all later

well i had to go back and have my gallbladder taking out on Friday MAY 22 it was not fun still have a lot of trapped gas inside that is killing me  but beside that everything else is going good. i have stop losing weight and my finial size is 145 and in a size 6 pants i never would have guest that i would be down to this weight.

well it has been a hard road for me... I got sick again over thanksgiving and my doctors could not find out what was wrong with me I had a hard time drinking and eating and nothing wanted to stay down ... finally on Dec 19 Dr Hill found that I had ulcers in my pouch and that was causing all the problems .... but now I'm on med to heal them and I'm back eating thankfully ... I go back to the doctors on Dec 31 to see how I'm doing and to make sure the med are working ... I'm down to 167  and starting to feel great ...

well Doctor told me i'm fine and what i'm going through is normal ... My weight was 187 ....
I almost forgot on my birthday my boyfriend of 3 yr asked me to marry him and i said yesssssssss I have not picked a date yet but will let everyone know as soon as i do ...

Well my current weight is 190 I'm right now starting to have a hard time i'm getting sick a lot so I have to go see the doctor on wed 19 just to make sure i'm still on track I have not been able to eat alot and some smell are making me sick too .. i hope there is nothing wrong .. I will update as soon as i know what is going on talk to you all later ....

Well I'm doing good no other problems ...I can't believe I'm turning 32 on November 11 .... I hope everyone of my friends are doing as well or better then me keep up all the good work .....

Well I had a few bumps in the road but now I'm doing good... I was in a size 24 pants now in a 14-16 ... and weight is 200lbs don't have knee or back pain and no more diabetes...yayaya
My energy levels are back to normal. For food i still have a hard time with beef but everything else i can hold down ..Drinks i still have not found anything i like so i keep trying new thing because before this i was a soda drinker...


September 26  was taking to the ER due to dehydration ... had to stay in the hospital until the 28 ... now I'm back home i have to see my Dr on the 8 of Oct so hopefully nothing else gos wrong


hello everyone i was rush in to the hospital on September 22 do to my incision opening up due to infection ... doctor had to pack it and that hurt ,,, hopefully it will heal right and i won't have to every go through this again

May 12,2008 Went to the doctors and they said I'm ready and that they will call me to schedule the appointment with Dr Hill and i have to go on this all liquid diet 9 day before the surgery when ever that will be ... I guess now it's the waiting game ..

Well I got called on May 14 from the doctor office giving me an appointment to see the Nutrition on May 27 and go over my diet that i'll have to be on 9 day before surgery to shrink my liver

May 27, 08 well  went to my appointment and was told that Dr Hill will call my as soon as he get finial approval of my insurance ...... so its still a waiting game.....I hate this....Its taking forever ..

June 06,2008, well i pass the nicotine test and now it will be about 3 week before finial ins. approval  comes back and according to the nurse, the next time when there is an opening for surgery will be in September i'm upset i've waited 10 months and by then it will be 1 year and 1 month but i guess that how it will be ..... so i'll update when i get my date ....

June 26,08 appointment with the Registered Physician Assistant just a update and to see how i'm doing and if there is any weight loss. and i did lose another 3 pounds next appointment is July 31 all i have to do is keep trying to lose weight ..

July 31,08  had my last weigh in and I had to buy my protein shake mix for my 9 day liquid diet

August 31 start my 9 day liquid diet ..


September 3 last appointment with surgeon, per-operative blood work, then go to pre-operative orientation group meeting
