Have you ever seen the movie: THE WIZARD OF OZ??? Well, soon you will be saying what the wicked witch said when Dorothy threw a bucket of water on her: "I'M MELTING!! I'M MELTING!!!" Those lbs will just melt off of you soon. You will soon be walking down the YELLOW BRICK ROAD to see the WIZARD OF OZ and your sweetest wish will be granted. Congratulations and good luck to you. My husband and I both had our open rny's at Pacific Bariatric in San Diego in 2001 and have lost a combined total of 325 lbs. YOU CAN DO IT TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yvonne, I am 10 days postop, lap rny. Dr thought he would have to do open, but he didn't. I have been lucky I guess. No problems, it was not as painful asa I thought it would be, but I was scared. As they wheeled in the opertating room I asked if it was to late to change my mind. They brought another dr in to talk to me to makesure this was what I wanted. I lost 12 lbs in 7 days.
