My Post-Op Eating Program

I had a Laproscopic Roux-en-y Gastric Bypass which envolves 5 small incisions. Although my outer stomach didn't look too bad, my inner stomach hurt alot for a week and a half after the surgery. I was given liquid Hydrocodone/APAP 7.5mg/500mg/15ml for the pain athome pain management...It works wonders!
1st. Week...I'm on a Clear Liquid Diet of Water, Crystal Light, Tea, 100% All Natural Apple or White Grape Juices deluted 50/50 with Water, Sugar Free Popsicles, Sugar Free Jello, Clear Broths.
2nd. & 3rd. Weeks...I'm on a Full Liquid Diet of continuing the Clear Liquid Diet as well as Liquid Protein Supplement, Sugar Free Soy Chocolate Milk & Hot Chocolate, Sugar Free/Fat Free Fudge Pops, Blended and strained Soups, 2 Weeks out...Lost 28 lbs!
4th. Week...Pureed Foods, Blended Soups, Mashed Yams/Sweet Potatoes, Cream of Wheat, Apple Sauce, Greek Yogurt, Sugar Free/Fat Free Pudding, Soft Scrambled Egg, ...and YES, Baby Food.
5th. Week...Soft Foods, Canned meats (rinsed well), Tuna in can or Packet, All veggies cooked until very tender. Fat Free/Low Fat Soft Chesses like Cottage Cheese, Peanut Butter and other Nut Butters (blended with a little soy milk), Softened Canned Beans (rised throughly).
6th. Week...Solid Foods! Eating very slowly with very very small bites.
