I have been overweight for most of my twenty two years and a few months ago I requested surgery. As of right now I have no clue where I am in the approval process. I recently had to complete labs, EKG and a chest x-ray as requested by my surgery center. When I registered to complete the EKG, PRE-OP was written on my paperwork, however I have yet to be told I was approved. My PCP sent me the reply to my labs and the letter started with "WOW!" Apparenly I am high risk for a heart attack and that experience is something I would not mind missing! I have my oreintation scheduled for June 9th and past that I dont know...
