Hi Zena, don't worry...I had similar situation....they just need to be safe...my beginning of heart disease was strickly due to obesity and I had my surgery 2 years ago...heart is fine. G-d bless you and I'll keep you in my prayers.

I have a new surgery date, it's Thursday, 9/18, I hope this is going to be fine, I have to see a cardiologist because of some abnormalities on my heart stress test and EKG. I am so stressed at this point my blood pressure went through the roof. The people at Cedars have been wonderful and I know they have my best interests at heart. Today I met Leroy and Amy in person, they were both very very nice. I had a pre-op with Dr. Furman who was equally nice and went through everything with me and answered all my questions.

Hello all my AMOS friends and thank you all for being so kind and e-mailing me such encouragement. I've had ANOTHER postponement and now my surgery is changed to Monday, 9/15, will it ever happen? Now I have to see a cardiologist for a slight abnormality on my stress test, I'm just praying that everything's OK and I can go forward on Monday.

Zena WOW!your day is almost here! I know you are going through a whirlwind of emotions about now as the day draws nearer...... I can still remember them and I am here to tell you they are NORMAL.... so hang in there soon you will be on the losing side enjoying the positives of WLS.
