Hi! I’m Jackie Hurley and I gastric sleeve done March 5th 2025 and I’m currently 37 days after surgery and I’m feeling wonderful! Doing everything to help me through the healing phase…walking is your best friend with gas and the healing process…I can say Hands down the best program out there…. I highly recommend to anyone who’s thinking of doing any type of weigh loss journey or surgery! Day 1 the whole team was so helpful and very supportive…I couldn’t ask for a better team! Dr. Baranov is the very best doctor that I have seen. He is incredibly thorough and he truly cares for his patients. Surgery went very smoothly and the staff at the hospital were professional and kind. Every single person I came in contact with was excellent. Dr. B saw me before surgery, in recovery and later that night. I would highly recommend getting surgery with him. You are in great hands when you choose the Saratoga Bariatric Surgery and Weightloss Program. The PA'S are great. I recommend going to the support group too. It's helpful!! I had Gastric Bypass Surgery with Saratoga Bariatric on December 11th 2024 and the whole process from start to finish with Dr. Baranov and his staff was exceptional. I had gastric bypass with Dr. Baranov in 2019. At that time I was 280 pounds and dealing with a myriad of health issues. After surgery I got down as low as 170 pounds, but didn’t feel well, so on the advice of my primary, I slowly gained to 195-200 where I’ve been since 2020. This is the weight where I feel most healthy and strong. I go to the gym, run and/or bike regularly.
Dr. Baranov’s team has been supportive the entire time since attending the initial seminar. The decision to attend the seminar and have the surgery was definitely a life changer!

In the 16 months since meeting Dr. Baranov and his team, I have worked immensely hard to loose exactly 120 lbs and can actually live life to its fullest once again. It’s not about the weight or appearance, it’s about getting to live and thrive again, not simply existing and drowning in a never ending battle.
