MAY 26, 2004 I had to wait almost 2 hours after my appointment time to meet with her, this initially frustrated me. Once I got to sit and speak with her, I understood why it took so long. She was extremely personable, and did not rush me at all. She answered EVERY single question I had. She made clear eye contact, and explained to me the benefits and risks involved. The office staff was helpful. (POST-OP--->) I adore Dr. Patterson! She is a wonderful woman, and an amazing surgeon. My incision looks awesome! And when I had a small setback she came to visit me twice, she stuck close by to make sure I got through it.

My first impression with Linda patterson was good. She was very proffessional.
The staff at Cleveland St. Vincent is great. Everyone is very helpful. Their program is highly detailed. I would rate Linda and her staff a "10".

What can I say about Dr. Linda Patterson? She is awesome. God truly used her on December 22, 2003. She changed my life for the better forever. When I first met her I thought she was soft spoken but very real. She got straight to the point about the possible complications of the procedure. Her office staff was all for her patients. One of her assistants was so in my corner that she worked after hours to check on my approval information. I'm so glad that God ordained her as my surgeon. I know He did because I was originally supposed to see another surgeon in the same hospital, but he refused to see me because I had yet to attend the mandatory seminar. I thank God that he refused. My experience with Dr. Patterson was wonderful... to make it plain... the lady is COLD!!! Off the hook!!! Brilliant!!! The best at what she does!!!
Thank you Linda!

I THOUGHT DR. PATTERSON WAS VERY INFORMATIVE ABOUT BYPASS SURGERY.SHE ANSWERD ALL MY QEUSTIONS.SHE LISTENED TO MY CONCERNS,SEEMED SINCERE ENOUGH.I FEEL SHE IS AVERY GOOD SURGEON,IF I DIDNT THINK THAT I WOULD NEVER HAVE PUT MY LIFE IN HER HANDS.I WOULD RECOMMEND HER,SHE HAS PERFORMED OVER 400 BYPASS SURGERIES.THERE IS A AFTERCARE PROGRAM AT THE HOSPITAL,WHICH I HAVE BEEN TO YET.SHE ADDRESSED ALL THE RISKS OF THE SURGERY.I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS ABOUT HER.SURGICAL COMPETENCE IS OF GREAT IMPORTANCE,BEDSIDE MANNERS ARE EQUALLY IMPORTANT.YOU NEED ALL THE SUPPORT YOU CAN GET,FROM THOSE WHO CARE FOR YOU AFTER SURGERY.

I met with Dr. Linda Patterson on April 1, 2004. It was lengthy wait, but I see why. Dr. Patterson spent time explaining the procedure, and risks involved. She answered my questions, and I felt as ease with her. I am looking forward to my surgery, and feel I will be in good hands with Dr. Patterson.

I found Dr. Patterson to be a very to-the-point kind of doctor. She wasn't over the top with kindness, however she wasn't arrogant or distant either. My impression of her changed slightly over time in that she seemed to take more of an effort to put me at ease on the day of the surgery. She also seemed happy for me during my post-op visit when I told her that my recovery was going well.

For the most part she left the aftercare portion to the other staff nurses/dietitians. She was thorough in explaining the risks of surgery and made sure that I understood them.

My first impression with Dr. Pattrerson was that she was young and skinny, how could she understand my battles with my weight. After a few appointments with her my impression of her is good. She is professional, has a good bedside manor, always takes time to answer my questions and she is easy to talk to.

When I walked into Dr. Patterson's office for my consult I was very nervous. As soon as she came in to talk to me I knew that I had made the correct choice for myself. She was kind and informative about the procedure I would be having. She advised me of all the risks involved and made sure that I understood that this would be a life changing experience and not just a quick fix for weightloss. Her staff was polite and made you feel at ease. Everthing went very smooth. I would give the whole process a 10 on a scale of 1-10

DR. PATTERSON WAS AN AMAZING WOMAN AT UNDERSTANDING AND WILL TO HELP PEOPLE WITH OBESITY PROBLEMS.THE PROGRAM AT ST. V. IN CLEVELAND WAS EXCELLENT AT THE IMFORMATION ON ALL AVE. ON YOUR JOURNEY. I AM HORNORED TO HAVE BEEN EXCEPTED INTO THEIR PROGRAM.
I HAD NOT SEEN DR. PATTERSON IN A YEAR. AS SOON AS SHE WALKED INTO THE ROOM FOR MY VISIT I JUST JUMPED UP AND HUGGED HER AND THANKED HER SO MUCH. IF IT WAS NOT FOR HER I WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO THE HARDEST THING I HAVE EVER HAD TO DO. WAS WORK AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE,TO TAKE CARE OF MY FAMILY, AND TO BE ABLE TO KEEP MY HUSBAND HOME UNTIL HE PASSED AWAY THIS DEC. 14, 2003. I COULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO DO IT AT 302. ONE OF THE MOST WONDERFUL THINGS DURING MY VISIT WITH DR. PATTERSON THIS DAY SHE TALKED TO ME ABOUT HER TIME SPENT WITH TODD DURING MY RECOVERY FROM WLS SURGERY BECAUSE I HAD A DIFFICULT TIME. SHE TOLD ME HOW HE TOLD HER HE WAS TERMIANALLY ILL AND WAS NOT DOING TO BE HERE BUT HE LOVED ME AND WANTED ME TO LIVE. FOR A DR. TO REMEMBER THIS WITH SO MANY PATIENTS. IT WAS THE MOST WONDERFUL HEART FELT MOMENTS OF MY LIFE FOR SOMEONE TO REMEMBER HIS WORDS TO GIVE ME THESE GIFT.TO LIVE AND TO HAVE BEEN LOVED.SHE IS WONDERFUL.
