I want to thank Dr.Michalski for giving me a second chance at life. I was always big and after researching weight loss surgery and after seeing how he was with my girlfriend as she had her surgery a year ago I knew he was the surgeon for me. He is so patient and makes sure you the patient understand the benefits and risk of surgery. He doesnt keep anything from you as you prepare for this serious operation. Dr. Michalski doesnt stop after your surgery. He stresses after care and shows a real concern for his patients.

7/7/2005: Had my 1st appointment today with Dr. Stephen Michalski. Bad first impression dealing with his office staff regarding appointment time, but I survived. Had to wait 2 hours to see him. Dr. Michalski was very polite, informative and very really detailing. He went over all aspects of the surgery pre and post. Overall first impression was very favorable. He made sure I understood that at times it can be a lengthy process, so I would not be discouraged. More details to follow.

My first impress of Dr. Michalski was that he was very nice and attentive. He answered all my questions and took hos time with me.

The office staff is great. They are very helpful and supportive. Especially Jessie the receptionist.

Dr. Michalski addressed all the risks and possible complications of the surgery with me.

I would rate him as an awesome doctor and great person overall.

I was scedule to have this surgery before with another Dr. but I was to scared. Then I meet Dr. Michalski, at first I was scared again but he was so nice and understanding that I decided to have it this time. He's staff (specailly Jessica :)), is so helpful and patient. At first I wasn't approved by my health insurance but thanks to the staff and Dr. Michalski that they had appealed and due to other health reason, I was accepted!! Praise God!! My surgery is for December 22, 2004. My weight is 260lbs. I just can't wait. My reason for this surgery is because I have lots of problem with my legs due to my weight. I had two knee surgery and one foot surgery and I am scedule to have another foot surgery in the summer. I have a lot of problem walking and I'm so tired of drinking pain killers and still no change. I pray that this is the solution of my problem. Once again, I thank the Lord for putting Dr. Michalski in my destiny. As the date gets closer, I will be informing you of any changes. I had known him from my sister & mother. Both had him for a surgeon & loved him. Had to wait 5 months for 1st appt. because he's in such demand. When I met him & we talked, he remembered my sister(15 yrs ago) & mother(3 yrs ago), what he did for them & if there were complications. WOW-how nice, your not a number! He's kind, attentive, patient, & thorough. His staff - equal to him. For myself, he's the Dr. for the job. He makes me feel comfortable & confident with my choosing him. The only negative (if I had to give one), because he is in high demand & attentive, this could cause a long waiting room wait. But he is worth it.

My first impression was he was the greatest man in the world not only cause he was doing the greatest thing in my life. But because he takes his time... I think that the office staff is great they really do their job...There was nothing about this man that i didnt like the only thing i really didnt like was i waited so long for an appointment but u know what they say good things come to those who wait!Future patients should know that he is the best!!!!To all who are having surgery this is the man for you he is nice,caring,supportive, there are so many words to describe him if u are thinking about the surgery i say go with this doctor!

My first impression of Dr. Michalski was that he is warm, enthusiastic, and truly cares about his patients. He made me feel at ease immediately. He is very thorough in describing the benefits and risks of WLS. His staff was alsovery helpful and informative. I feel very comfortable with him and look forward to continuing on this journey with him. This was my first visit with him and it was a very positive experience.

I WAS SCARED ABOUT THE CONSULTATION BUT DR. MICHALSKI MADE ME FEEL AT EASE. HE IS A CARING AND UNDERSTANDING PHYSICIAN WHO TAKES TIME TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE.I AM LOOKING FORWARD TOWARDS MY SURGERY.

When I decided to have this operation I WAS referred to Dr.Michalski, i was a bit scared as i always am when it comes to DRS.DR Michalski and his whole entire staff were absolutely wonderful. he was very professional as was his staff and yet they where quite nurturing and pleasant. I have been going to him for over ayear now my feelings and impression of him has not changed one iota. i have also referrde alot of my friends, family and co- workers, who need any kind of surgery to DR Michalski. I tell them that he is so thorough he makes you go through everything and you can't go on to the next step until you do the step before. he is great on thigs like that .He explains thr procedure to you over and over again.you don't leave his office without knowing everything about the procedure you are going to have. For the gastric bypass I had several visits with him for about 6 months before the actual surgery. i was able to talk to him and to sevral of his patients that had the surgery. I felt that that was an enlighting experience.
