The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was given a private room and the nurses and aides were quick to respond to any bell I pushed and fulfilled the request quickly.

Barix is a wonderful choice for surgery. The entire team is encouraging, caring and sensitive to the patients needs. Not one person entered my room without knocking, an incredible consideration at a hospital. Not one person left my room without asking if I needed anything else.

My family and friends who visited were made to feel like part of the family. The staff is always smiling and more than helpful. They were attentive and caring.

I would recommend Barix - Forest Health Medical Center to anyone considering surgery in MI.

By the time I left, I felt like I was saying good bye to great friends. I will visit them again, they are truly happy and encouraging! What more can you ask for when you're recovering? They are simply the best!

There was no part of my stay that was anything but excellent - Each nurse, respiratory therapist and patient care giver was always smiling and willing to help

Dr. Taylor is knowledgable and shows that during his lecture. Also, he is factual and to the point. Yet, he answers questions and I did not feel rushed.

The staff could not have been any nicer to me during my stay. They were so knowledgable of what I was going through. They knew exactly on how to take care of me and what my needs where at the time. Very good, comfortable experience. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

The staff and doctors at the Barix Clinic were very professional and went above and beyond to make sure all of my needs were met.

All I can say is that Dr. POP was the best. He explained the procedure and everything I should expect thoroughly and made sure that I did not have any questions. I would recommend him to anyone looking into having this surgery.

You are well cared for at The Barix Clinic I would recommend this place to anyone...the staff is the best...they know their job well and care for you as their own and give you comfort mentally....emotionally...and physically....they all need awards for perfection........I never felt more safe in my life as I did in there hands......The Barix Clinic Staff RULES!!!!!!!!!

What can I say about Dr. Poplawski.............LOVE HIM........when I first met him at the Windsor Seminar in April I thought he was the best Doctor for me.....he was very informative and had great skilled hands..........oh and he was funny as heck and that just made my decission easier.....if you are looking for the best surgeon to do this operation I would recommend Dr.Poplawski 200%......He was a straight forward guy...he told you everything you needed to know about the proceedure as well as what it would be like after even the risks.....He wanted me to get below 400lbs before surgery and I acheved this by losing 30lbs...he was happy about this......which made things more easier for him and I both in the end.......I would give him again 200% on his surgical competence as well as bedside manners...he checked on me often which was great....his office staff is soooooo awsome....I felt safe and cared for every min of everyday I was there.....oh and Dr.Poplawski is so darn cute as heck as well....lol......so I say choose Dr. Poplawski and The Barix Clinic all the way.
