One Year Anniversary December 19th

Dec 20, 2006

Wow what a year it's been.  I was told the first year flies by, but I sure didn't believe it until now.  I have been blessed with a gift of life.  I'm so happy that I had the surgery and I'm doing wonderful.  I weighed in at 140 this morning.  132 lb loss in a year not bad huh?  My family has been great through this whole ordeal especially my wonderful husband.  He gets to sleep with a new woman now. :)

If your thinking of having the surgery you won't have any regrets.  It's been a wonderful ride.

Love,

Here we are again another month has gone by.  It's so hard to believe how fast the time flies after you have surgery.  I'm still a bad girl when it comes to eating the right foods.  I'm thinking that I need a shrink to help me with my food issues, before they get out of hand.

My weight this morning was 144.  Which means that I only lost 2 lbs this past month.   I have started going to a weight loss support group that a good friend of mine started.  They weigh in once a month and maybe that will keep me on track.  It's a fun group.  I haven't been able to go to our regular surgery meetings.  It seems like there is always something going on thursday nights.

I love that we joined the YMCA and I have been going to water classes 2-3 times a week.  We also take the boys to swimming lessons and they enjoy that.  Guy said that he was going to start going in the mornings twice a week so we will for sure be using our membership.

Till next month and I will be under 140 darn it!!!!  I have been in the 140s way to long.
