Kevin pulled through just fine and is doing well. He had his NG tube down for a couple of days and finally got that removed. He had gained about 20 pounds since being on the IV's. He is not expected to be released until Monday, his surgeon is out of town. He wants him to be in the hospital while he's out of town. He's been up and walking without any assistance. Kenneth and I are both so proud of you Kevin!

I hope everything goes well for you today, James, and that you're back home and feeling better real soon. Your surgery will be THE best gift you've ever gotten... that's how I feel, anyway. God bless ya !!

James - you will be in my thoughts and prayers. This prayer brought me comfort and peace during a very difficult divorce and also right before wls - I hope it will be of some help to you.....Dear Heavenly Father, I trust you to write my tomorrows and file my yesterdays in a place that will not harm me. I will await your direction. Give me the courage. Though I long for freedom and victory, I am afraid to venture into such unknown territory. I have forgotten how to laugh, truly laugh and kiss the wind, so bowed over have I been in my despair. You are the lifter of my head. Raise me now and lead me on. I am ready. Ready for change. Ready for deliverance. Ready to experience the fullness of the joy and peace that you have ordained for me. Yes, I am ready. Lead the way in Jesus’ name. Amen! hugs - dea

I Said a Prayer For You Today! I said a prayer for you today, and know God must have heard, I felt the answer in my heart, although He spoke no word, I didn't ask for wealth or fame, I knew you wouldn't mind, I asked Him to send treasures of, a more loving lasting kind, I asked Him to send you blessings at the start of your new day, To grant you love and health, and to guide the surgeon's way, I asked for you to recover fast, and to become thin and small, But it was for His loving care, I prayed for most of all!

James, Have the Greatest Ever on the 18th!! It’s good to see more guys out here. We make up the minority of folks having weight-loss surgery but tend to reach our goal weights quicker and with fewer hassles due to Male Physiology. Drop by the Men’s Forum if you ever want to know how other men have dealt with any of the issues concerning the surgery or life after. I’m just dropping you a line to remind you that there’s a Huge Crowd of Strangers out here pulling for you and holding you in our prayers. Best Wishes- Dx
