William Homan
"Dr. Homan seemed to be an especially friendly and caring person. I felt totally comfortable with him discussing weight. I found him to be respectful.......my husband was in the room and before the doctor even mentioned any numbers he asked if it was ok to discuss with my husband in the room. I liked that.rnrnHe came to visit often in the hospital and made me feel very comfortable. He was open with answers.rnrnBefore and aftercare seem to be extraordinary. There are bi-monthly support groups for \"newbies\" like myself and and also other groups for continuing after support where everyone is welcome.rnrnThere are nutritionists, a therapist, and a patient educator as part of the team. rnrnI would rate this practice very highly. They acted immediately to address all my concerns.rnrnAt this point (12/20/07), I need to add the sad information that Bill Homan passed away in a fatal plane crash 2 1/2 years ago. The practice is still running with his partner Carl Weber."
