I am living in the UK and after spending most of my life trying to lose weight on 'proper' diets and battling eating disorders I had NHS funded surgery in 2016.

I'm disabled and living with multiple life long disabilities but losing 8 stone has made a huge difference to my quality of life and I can exercise now! I have mobility issues which losing weight has helped but won't ever cure.

At 16 or so months out I got 4lb from my goal weight of 10 stone or 140 pounds and then plateaued and since then my weight has crept up to 10:10 (150 pounds) which wasn't helped by a bad fall that meant a hospital trip and no exercise for nearly a month. I started logging my carbs as well as protein recently too so it's very frustrating my weight isn't going down but I'm also relying a lot on protein bars for meals because I can't eat gluten or cook for myself.

Only my husband, best friend and boss know I've had surgery. My family's very dysfunctional and I can't deal with how jealous they'd be. I also generally don't put photos up because I work in the mental health field and remaining as anonymous as possible is very important to me. I mention it because sometimes lack of photos make people suspect I'm a troll but I promise I'm not ;)
