Congrats on your weight loss Danielle! You have done great! In answer to your question on the message board, drinking when you eat something that is questionable will NOT keep you from gaining weight. It will wash the food from your pouch, true, but then you will be hungry again. And your body will still process the fat/carbs, etc. the same as if you had not had anything to drink. Also, there is the danger of starting up a carb addiction again, especially with the "bad" carbs, such as pastries and white bread. So I would say, no, don't drink when you eat the forbidden foods, let them stay in your pouch as long as you can, maybe that way you won't eat as much of them. I hope I do as well as you in my journey. Good luck with the rest of it.
