Danielle, I too had that happy experience this weekend when I tried on a pair of my daughter's size 10 denim shorts and they fit perfectly! Not even any elastic! I feel your joy. Congratulations on all your success. This surgery has definetely been a miracle to me. Good luck as you continue on the journey.

Danielle, Just a comment regarding todays post regarding a comment your mom made. I wondered whether she perhaps just used the wrong terminology by saying you are 'mean'. Often those around us are put in a new position and are often apprehensive when we begin to change; and we are definitely changing; hopefully for the better. Personally I know that I am different; not just physically. I was an emotional eater and now that that is no longer an option I find I am dealing with life in a different manner; perhaps even becoming more confidant and outspoken. Just not taking alot of *&%$. Not being a total wuss anymore. Not aggressive; just taking care of myself emotionally now. Perhaps your mom is no longer seeing the 'jolly fat person' but a happier more confident you. Best of luck. Monika
