Best wishes on your upcoming surgery. We both wish you all the luck in the world with your recovery too. We BOTH had open rny's in 2001. Mine (Doug, aka: OLD RODEO CLOWN PANTS) was in Oct and I have lost 215 lbs. My sweet wife, Nancy, had her surgery in June and she has lost 110 lbs. Hi Pam, you are a brave one... My starting weight was 412 and at only three weeks post of I was down 47 pounds... congratulations on your surgery date.. and before you blink you will be in the recovery room waking up and on the loosing side...and then next time you blink you will be 2 weeks out and down lots of pounds... take care, you will do just fine... iI will keep you in prayer

Hello Pam! WOW! I know you are just as excited as I am about surgery! I think that is really cool that we will be having surgery on the same day. Are you going to be at Vanderbilt or Centennial? A good friend of mine will hopefully going to Vanderbilt. Her journey is just beginning. Well, I will be thinking about you and I hope that you have a sucessful surgery. God Bless.
