I just want to say Happy Birthday to Lorie or Happy Anniversary!!!! It was a year ago today that Lorie had her RNY surgery! She has done very well and is soooo healthy!! I also met her for the first time a year ago today. Youi go girl I'm so very proud of you, keep up the walking and drink that wonderful water!! See ya soon!! Marcia Rohrbough your angel :)

Lorie, congratulations on your successful weight loss! You are doing awesome! My hair loss started early at about 2.5 months and continued until nearly 6 months. I was afraid I'd go bald! I'm now 8 months along and I have lots of new hair growth over an inch long! Yay, it does come back! *smile*

Hi to all my AMOS friends :) This is me (Lorie) and I'm home from the hospital now. Thank you to my wonderful angel, Marcia for not only keeping everyone updated but for being there for me. :) Thank you to everyone who posted well wishes on my surgery page and sent me emails. Your kind words have meant so much to me. I'm doing good, still had a low temp at discharge but I'm doing my breathing exercises and praying hard. I haven't weighed yet but I'm sure I've lost some weight since I haven't eaten like my 'normal self' since last Saturday. I made a friend at the hospital who asked me to email her the url for this site so hopefully she will be joining our online support community soon! Well, I better go for now. Thank you again!
