Angel Update Jackie had her NG tube removed yesterday and a successful leak test. She then got clear liquids to try. Today she was moved up to a full liquid diet and tolerated it well. Because she was doing so well, her Doctor let her go home! Jackie is happy to be home and is resting well. She sends her love to all of you and is grateful for all your well wishes. She wants you all to know that she is anxious to get online and will do that when she is a little more rested. I know she will be thrilled when she reads all of your messages. Congratulations again Jackie for making the journey to the other side!!!

Angel Reporting In Jackie was doing much better yesterday and I got to speak with her. She sounded a little groggy from her loving relationship with her "magic" button for her morphine infusion...hehe, but she said she was doing well. She had even started doing her laps down the hallway. No water yet, but she does get the lemon swabs (personally I thought they were a Godsend) to fend off most of the dry mouth. Leak test is scheduled for today so say your prayers for a leak free test. Will post again later....

Angel Report Hello Everyone. Jackie is now in her room and according to John (husband) she is quite fond of her Morphine pump button. Says she pushes it every 5 minutes or so. She is sleeping off and on, so I will wait to call her when she is better rested. I will keep you all posted as Jackie continues on her new journey!

Angel Reporting In!!! Jackie went into surgery at 10 AM (EST). I spoke with her husband around 11AM and he said he is okay, just waiting for word that she is out of surgery. She should be out around 12 noon, which is pretty soon. I will be updating you all on her status as the day progresses. Say a prayer for Jackie and her family for a safe surgery and speedy recovery.
