CONGRATULATIONS, CAROL !! I am only 8 days out from my Lap RNY w/Dr. Mirande and all went well, I believe. No complications thus far anyway - I'm just hungrier than I ever thought possible. I'm sick of the broth & jello !! :) Won't be long. I can feel I've lost weight but have no clue how much. I'm a bit nervous about the drain tubes coming out...is it painful? THANK YOU for your "anniversary" wishes! WOW! 1 year! 120# GONE for LIFE! I am "alive and well" at 1 year! and plan on living those "extra" years surgery gave me to the FULLEST! My prayers and well wishes go out to those who have had surgery and to those who are contemplating surgery and especially to those who have made the decision and are "waiting" for confirmation of surgery.

8/9/01 - 85#'s GONE! I am finding that I am over-doing it in this heat..not sure if it is a dehydration thing or not, but caution to all that your body is ever-changing and each new day can have its challenges...so, be aware and take care!

Carol Glad to see you got registered on the site. I only have 7 days and have been so busy the time is just flying by. I started working out and feel good already, I am SO excited that you have lost 80 lbs I want to do the same. Take care, your medford buddy.
