Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you. Sarah G LapRNY 6/22/04 295/252/150

Hi Rachael, Im wishing you much success on your surgery and the same to your husband. You both are a wonderful (and cute) couple. I agree with a lot of the stuff you said on your profile about how obese people are perceived. I even lost a job prospect because I didnt look the part. I have to believe that because I was so qualified for the position there isnt any other excuse. So what I've learned is to hang in there and to roll with it. Its a hard lesson but the people that really care about me are the people I am counting on to help me through this journey. I hope you have the same kinds of people around you. Stay positive and focused and you will achieve your goals. good luck sweetie, Mary

Rachael -- I'm gonna have to agree with Hat (and everyone else), you really do have a pretty face! I am so excited for you and your husband! I pray that the time between now and surgery is perfectly paced, I pray for peace for you and your loved ones, I pray for a speedy recovery! God bless and keep you and your wonderful family. :D

Congrats on your approval and date. You and I are very lucky to have gotten through this as quickly as we did even thought it seemed to drag out at times. So, a new home, new profile, new husband, new you. Is anyone going to recognize you a year from now? Well, you'll still have that pretty face. :-) Sorry couldn't help myself. BTW, I have a Sharpie with your name all over it. Just give me the word.
