Stephanie, congrats on getting the tummy tuck, it must be great to have a flat tummy! You look great in your newest photo, I can even see your collar bones. What a lovely neck you have! Keep up the good work.

Hi Steph! You look terrific! Congratulations on your successful weight loss. I hope you make your century mark in time for your vacation but don't sweat it if you don't. You'll still look great in a swim suit! Keep up the good work. ~Kyla

Steph left the hospital Sunday evening. She, her husband and 2 of the children stayed in the area a couple of days longer. Her dad and I brought the other 2 girls back home on Sunday. She had her follow up visit with her doctor on Monday. He removed her drainage tube. She said it was a great relief to get it out. Steph and family arrived home this evening. She seems be be doing very well. I'm sure she'll be on-line soon to post her own update....... mom

Steph experienced quite a bit of nausea the day of her surgery and the next day. It seemed to be brought on by the pain medication primarily. Each dose of pain meds had to be followed up with medicine to control the nausea. That in turn kept her asleep most of the time, which was probably a blessing. By the time I arrived at the hospital at 11 p.m. Friday night she was in better spirits. Today was a good day for the most part for her. She was up and walking around - to go to the restroom and we took a walk around the nurses station on her floor. She may have actually done too much as she was in some pain this evening - the pain concentrated in the surgery sites. They already have her on the diet instant breakfast drinks and her system is tolerating it well. She may be released tomorrow. I will update when I find out more...... her mom

Stephanie, her husband and the 2 middle children traveled to Virginia Beach yesterday. Steph had her consult with her doctor and then went to the hospital for final blood work. Her surgery was today at 11:15 a.m. Her husband called me around 3:10 p.m. to tell me that she was out of surgery and had done well. The doctor also removed her gall bladder. He found a polyp on her bowel and removed it. The biopsy showed everything was ok. At 6:10 p.m. her husband called back to say she had been moved to her room (410) but was still asleep and probably would be for another hour and a half. I'm thankful she went through the surgery well. It was hard on me not being with my "baby" today. First time ever she's been in the hospital that mom wasn't there with her. There were alot of tears on both our parts before she left town yesterday. Her dad and I will be taking the other 2 children up tomorrow after we get off work and spending the weekend with them there. Thank you her friends for your prayers and support. Continue to pray for her as I know she will for you that the adjustment to the new lifestyle ahead will go smoothly. ................. her mom - Debby
