*Angel suiting up again*.. Hey all, would you please send up good thoughts and prayers for my dear Lua? She got home from California and was doing well for the first week or so.. now however she has developed an infection, and when last I heard from her was preparing for a possible trip to the hospital. Her surgeon is in Fresno, but she has a wonderful PCP that she likes very much in her home city of Corvallis Oregon. She's been on an antibiotic but has had pain and other symptoms. I thank you for your help, and claim in the name of Jesus healing for all those in need. ~Peace!

Hi everyone! I am home and doing well! I got in about 1:00 am, it was a strenuous trip but not to bad. I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart, for their thoughts and prayers. They obviously worked!!!! I would also like to thank Julie, who helped keep me in good spirits, and for soliciting all those prayers. So far I am down 15 lbs., it is nota whole lot but we all have to start somewhere. Dr. Frye was amazing! I have absolutely had no problems that I can complain about. I have been feeling some nausea, but have not vomitted, so I am counting my blessings. Thanks again to all of you. Sincerely,

*Angel Update* Lua moved from the surgical center as planned...rested up and was out walking laps around the hotel last night with her Mom and Sister. She'll be at the hotel until her follow-up on Wednesday with Dr. Frye and then it's off to visit relatives until she flies back to Portland. She's a bit swollen in the extremities but otherwise is feeling good. I'll be in touch with her until she leaves the hotel. We've been blessed and I am thankful to have met this wonderful lady. ~Peace

**ANGEL UPDATE** Lua is moving from the surgical center to a hotel across the street tomorrow. She had her first meal today.. 2 oz chicken broth, 1/2 oz Jello and 2 oz chocolate Ensure.. says that filled her right up! She had the joy of a visit from her five year old daughter Alma (cute as a button!)and has been up and about as much as possible. She inquired about Ron Winkler, if anyone has any info would you let me know? I see no updates on his page from his Angel since the day of his surgery. (I'd love to have some to share with Lua when I speak to her tomorrow). I pass along to you all thanks, from the bottom of my heart and from Lua, for all of your thoughts and prayers. ~Peace!

**DING DONG.. ANGEL CALLING** I talked to Lua's mother at about 3:05pm PST..she said they'd taken her off of the IV pain meds (not morphine her mom said, some other 'obscure' drug) which was good and bad.. good because she doesn't need it but bad because she's feeling more than she was. She's been up and walking around and otherwise doing good.. she was working on her breathing when I talked to her mom(I could hear the balls clacking in the breathing apparatus). Just when I was about to hang up, as it didn't seem like a good time to talk to Lua, her mom said she wanted to say hello. Lua sounds great! She told me that the recovery so far seemed easier than when she had her gallbladder out (lap).I forgot to ask her when she might be sprung out of there, but there's always tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has kept this lovely lady in their thoughts and prayers.. I remain, among the LUCKIEST of ANGELS.. ~Peace!
