I'm APPROVED!!! My insurance company took less than a week to approve my surgery. I'm so excited! They'll be calling me soon to schedule the date!

Got a status update from Dr. Williams' office...Susan said that the paperwork will be going out this Friday and it could take 2-4 wks for an approval. Once she gets the ok, she'll call me and I'll have a date! Waiting patiently...

I have decided to see a second surgeon who is an in-network provider for my insurance, which means that surgery will be covered 100% should I get an approval. I'm seeing him Monday, 9/30, I'll let you know how it goes!!!

Been researching my insurance plan, lots to learn! I talked with BTC and it looks like they haven't even sent my paperwork to the insurance company yet...still trying to be patient!!! I tried looking around for an in-network provider, but they aren't taking appointments until March 2003!!! I can't wait that long, what am I going to do?

I just wanted to say that I met Chris Tuesday night at our first support meeting at BTC. She is a very sweet down to earth person, I could tell this right off the bat. She asked me to be her angel, and I accepted. Everyone needs a good friend while going through this. Chris I'm here for you when ever you need me.

Well, I've decided that I want to go ahead with the surgery. The only thing that's mandatory for BTC center is a psychological evaluation, which is no problem for me. I've got the appointment tomorrow night, they should get my information on Tuesday or Wednesday, then they can start the proceedings with my insurance..praying for a quick approval!About Me
