" I know, O LORD of LOVE and LIGHT, about the need. Touch my heart anew with your DIVINE LOVE and LIGHT that I too may receive and give, sending your healing touch to others in need. I invoke your DIVINE LOVE and LIGHT towards Excellent Health, Loving Relationships, Right Livelihood and Right Alignment with my and soul's purpose. I wish to align myself with ALL THAT IS, my own I AM PRESENCE. I now open myself to receive your gifts and with your DIVINE GUIDANCE I will give to others and give thanks for the SPIRITUAL ABUNDANCE in my Life." SO BE IT, IT IS SO.

2-20-02 Well, after 2 hospitalizations post RNY and 3 gastroscopies with dilitation I am finally able to eat solid food ! I am sort of afraid to try it after the "great potato fiasco!" It was getting pretty depressing and after abruptly having to discontinue the anti- depressant medication I've taken for almost 20 yrs I still feel pretty low. My husband is getting sick of being supportive. My energy level is low but should pick up now that I am off liquids. Reading the message board helps the most. Although I have sent some messages I am too shy to try to talk much. I guess I should feel grate- ful to have lost 50lbs. but have not felt that yet. Perhaps the depression will lift when I resume eating. I miss working. I work with special needs kids and due to torn cartilege in my knee cannot resume work until after knee surgery. I had the tear repaired in Sept. but reinjured it. The Doc said to loose weight before attempting it again which is what inspired me to have the RNY.My family feels that I am being selfish to spend so much time on myself but they don't understand that part of the reason I ate all the time is becaus I often ignored my own feelings trying to make all of them happy. The only way I have a chance to stay off the Prozac is to start acknowledging my feelings. Before the RNY surgery no matter how much I ate I felt empty. Now I guess I need to regain some other things to do to feel good. Joanne G.
