Well I made it to the other side! Surgery was Friday and it went great, no complications, I did all I could do and pushed myself a little more each day. Dr. Babineau allowed me to come home on Sunday I was so grateful! Being home has helped more than anything. I had a pelvic mass removed in December with an abdominal incision, I can say that the pain with this surgery was nothing compared to that, so I did really well. The morphine drip wasn't for me.......I realize it was controlling pain, but I couldn't sleep while taking it. I was hooked up to it about 8pm Friday evening and by 3am that morning I was no longer using it and didn't use it the rest of the stay. I'm already tired of jello and bullion! Imagine that. I did have a popcicle yesterday and that settled really well with me. I haven't had an appetite at all and no cravings. From reading some of the post I might be lucky in that area. I've lost 8 pounds which amazes me. I've started walking, but I am still really sore so I take that slow, but try to walk a little every day. Thanks to all of you for your support and your prayers, I know things wouldn't have gone so smoothly with them. I'll keep ya updated, and if anyone has questions shoot them my way and I will try and respond. Take Care. Marina

Marina is home... well should be soon if not already! Thanks for the well wishes and prayers. This girl is a hoot to be around. Enjoyed every minute of my visit with her. Welcome home girlfriend!

(\(0)/) Angel flying in to report Marina's mom called me minutes ago. My girl came thru the surgery great. She's in recovery right now and should be in her room later. I get to meet her face to face and spend the night with watching over her tomorrow (Sat) night..wahoo.. Love that girl... please continue to keep her in your prayers

Today is Marina Jacksons day to become a LOSER! (wow, I can finally call her that!!) I spoke to her yesterday & she was excited and raring to go (when is she not?? lol) She is settled in and her mother is with her at this time...let us please bow our heads and pray for her. We pray to our heavenly Father to watch over the surgeon and staff, and also over Marina as they perform this procedure on her. We pray for her well being and for her strength in recovery. We have truly been blessed to have Marina as a good friend Lord, and we ask that you watch over her during this time and be with her as she enters her "new" person, we pray that this is your will Father. Thank you for bringing us this wonderful day..Amen.....Thanks everyone! Please sign her surgery page, Im sure she will love seeing the posts once she returns! Well gf today is the day hope u got my ym's yesterday .....I am so happy and excited for you ...my prayers and thoughts are with u so call me and let me know when u feel better and up to yapping.....I will meet u on the other side along with Carla in 2 months...whooo hoo!!!
