Well I am doing better, and loving my weight coming off! And as of today I am 36 pounds lighter than before surgery. I continue to have the most pain from the hernia repair, but wtih this in mind I am greatly reducing the amount of pain medicine I need to take. And I am increasing my activity. I am now able to walk 8-10 blockes before I get too tired to continue! And this is progress! Before surguer if I walked
3 blockes I was done for! So when asked if I would do this again even in light of the hernia repair my answer would be yes, yes, yes!!
I thank God for the chance to have this surgery and a job to allow me the time off to get healed from the surgery! To anyone who is reading this update, please don't let anything stand in your way. If you have to be on clear liquids only like I did for 4 weeks {2 weeks before and 2 weeks after surgery}, even that is worth it! And as I melt to a smaller person and the pain reduces I am sure that I will never get to the point that I wished to go back to the person I used to be. God bless you all and good luck
