bless you for posting on the AL Roker timing on tv.. i'll go now to check it..and awesome on using your protein .... I can't wait to have my surgery May 28th *hugs* it will be a revision for me from an old surgery... take care and thanks again

Just wanted to let everyone know that I am now on the losing side. Had my surgery on the 3rd and came home Sunday, the 6th. My surgeon said it was one of the easiest he had done. My leak test went great, too, except for the idiots in radiology. The rest of the hospital staff was GREAT. Wonderful nurses. And their approach to pain is wonderful, too. They realize that pain slows done the healing process and want to make sure to minimize it for you. That they did. The worst of the pain was in my throat from the tubes during surgery, but that was gone the next day. Now I'm on to my new life. I want to thank everyone again for all the nice postings to my surgery page. You people are great, too.

I am Praying for your surgeon to have steady hands and for his talents and skills be their best to give you your new life tool.I also pray for your recovery to be speedy and uncomplicated. My surgery is also just a few days away (April 16th)so I know how you are feeling! That nervous excitement of waiting. Time is an amazing thing I have heard over and over what a diffrence a year can make.
