Nurisha, don't feel bad, girlfriend, I plateaued at just 3 weeks post-op, didn't last too long, a week or so, I think. Just stick with your plan and it will catch up! Hugs!

Hi Nurisha, Sorry this post is after your surgery date. I just wanted to say that I'm glad that your surgery went off without a hitch. I hope you are feeling as well as you look. Thank God for making your surgery uneventful, considering your wiring on the inside. That is unbelievable. I'M HOME! Wow what a week. The hospital was great. The surgery only lasted 1 1/2 hours partly due to the fact that I WAS BORN WITHOUT A GALLBLADDER!!! Not only that but you know how your colon is supposed to wrap around your intestines? My colon is on one side of my belly and my intestines are on the other! AND my appendix was on the wrong side of my stomach! I say WAS because my surgeon removed it just in case it ever erupted, the surgeons would look for it on the wrong side! WOW! I am a walking miracle not to have hade any problems. Thanks be to God! I am moving around ok and am trying hard to stick to my 15 minute diet. It takes work! I thought and prayed for each of you while I was in the hospital. My friend who also had the surgery with me is doing well. I have already lost 13.5 pounds. Mostly water and IV fluids I am sure. Thanks for your prayers. I will update more when I can sit at the computer longer. I MADE IT!

Dear Nurisha, Just wanted to drop by closer to your date and send my prayers your way. I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and have done great. You will, too because I can tell you have a great, positive attitude and faith in God and so many people praying for you and I know that is what has made my surgery and recovery period such a success.
