Katherine, I wish all the best for your upcoming WLS, I am having gastic bypass on oct 7th so I know how you feel... I hope you have a easy recovery and remember after your surgery that, Nothing tastes as good as being skinny feels!

Katherine, A little over a month and you will be on the losing side. I never thought that was the side to be on until now. I will be thinking positive thoughts for you. I hope to see you at another support meeting soon. Good Luck!!!

Hi Katherine, I also live in Vancouver and I just wanted to say hi. I had the DS surgery 2 months ago today (May 29) and I am having a ball. I have lost 72 pounds and 68 inches in 2 MONTHS. Just wanted to provide something for you to look forward to. Good luck, my prayers are with you...

Had a good time at Pre Op meeting with you last night! It is awsome your date got moved to Sept 12. We will have a great time harassing the help that weekend! LOL Can't wait to be there with ya and start our new lives! God Bless! Sisters in Surgeons!

Katherine, I am now on the other side and am really happy for you that you have gotten a date!!!!!!!!!! I feel pretty darn good. I am a little tired, but a little nap does fine. I only took 1 teaspoon of pain medication the first day I was home which was Saturday and have not taken any since. Hope everything continues to go good for you. Sherrie
