Our dear Betty is experiencing alot of nausea and dry heaving. the doctor says about 1 out of every 20 go through this. i just spoke to her and she sounded good although very dry as they had taken her ice chips and jello away for now. she was a little uncomfortable and sore. the doctor is going to keep her in the hospital until sunday. i expect her to feel much better tomorrow. thanks nancy harper

Hi Betty! I am so happy that you are one of the Championettes and that you have come through to the other side! Congratulations and take it easy for the next few weeks and just follow Dr. C's instructions and call Michele with any questions. She is very sweet and eager to help! Let us know how you are doing when you feel up to it! Relax and enjoy the ride!!!!!!! It gets better and better with each day...I know how you feel about the insulin and diabetic medications. It is almost too good to be true isn't it? I had my surgery on 5/8/01 and haven't taken any insulin since the day before surgery. I am a 56 year old grandma and I too want to dance at all of my grandchildren's weddings and you know what? WE BOTH WILL!!!! Love and Hugs, Janice Joy
