I went to visit Deb at the hospital today and she looked wonderful. I could tell she was groggy from the medicine but she kept a smile on her face the whole time. She said she was so thirsty that even the yucky stuff she had to drink for the upper GI tasted good. I definitely give her an A+.

Jus spoke with Deb.. wow, she sounds great, tired, but definitely sounds likes she's feeling good. She said so far the pain has been mild, never worse than a 5 on the 1-10 scale.. thank goodness for that morphine drip though!! She's been up and walking again today, and hopefully will get to go home tomorrow!! WTG Deb!!!

Deb came through the surgery and all went well as expected. She has just gotten out of recovery and is in her room still sleeping like a baby. I hear she was quite nervous before surgery this morning but now she is on the other side. Thank You God!!!

Hi Deb... My date is still 2 weeks out, and I already understand exactly what you wrote about this morning. I'm already having trouble sleeping, anxiety doesn't even begin to describe the feeling. I have never been a deeply religious person, but I will definitely pray for you, pray for me, and for all the other WLS patients past present and future, as well as the other obese people in the world that struggle with the simple things in life.
