Called hospital and Roland is still in ICU so I wasn't able to get any info. I have printed his card and will be going to hospital tomorrow to see how he is doing and I will update then.

July 9,2001 2:14 CDT Hello AMOS well ive been pricked,prodded,pinched,poked, x-rayed and every crevace has been examined at the pre-op tests so i guess its onward to the knife on the 20th!!! Good Day Roland McDowell

July 6,2001 7:40am CDT Hello everyone! Well i went to my Dortors at the UT Hosp. in Tyler Tx. yesterday and spent about 3 hours in the pulminary lab doing tests, of course they had to have blood gases, (OUCH) then i guess i'l have to have another for the pre-op tests in Palastine Tx. Monday (OUCH IN ADVANCE)but i got copies of all the tests they ran on me so maybe that will suffice, or at least help out Dr. R Anyway both my doctors said i was good to go for the surgery on the 20th but have to stay on 0/2 24-7 until then, that sucks!Anyway if nothing comes undone i guess im as raedy as i'l ever be to cross over on the 20th, scared to death!,afraid i wont get to see my grandbabies again!! But without the surgery i know that would be the prognosis in a short time any way!! Thanks to eveyone for listening! Good Day Roland McDowell
