Good news. Roland has come through the two added surgeries. He is still on a ventolator because of his lung problems that was pre-existing. Please keep him in your prayers. He is doing well and proably will get off the vent in two to three days. Hang in there Roland !!! We are pulling for you !

Roland, you are in my thoughts and prayers that the physician and the Good Lord will mend your pouch quickly, so you can get back into the swing of things. Stay positive and hang in there. We are with you, my best/Irene

Everyone please pray for Roland. He had surgery on July 20,2001 and he somehow opened his pouch and was taken back into surgery last night and again today. Roland has major health problems and this will only add to them. He has a great Doctor, but please pray for them both.

Went and saw Roland today. He looks a lot better than last week. He doesn't even remember me stopping by last week. He is still in ICU but is hoping to go home tomorrow. Says he may not be able to post for a while because he will be going home with his children. I'm so glad to see another on the road to better health and happiness.

Went by and saw Roland this a.m. Took him a basket of goodies from our local support group and the card I printed from this site. He is still in ICU. He really looked miserable with all the tubes and such. He was not able to talk but was able to communicate that he was able to have Lap, had visitors and was doing okay. Another from our group was going to stop by and see him later. I didn't get a chance to talk with the nurses so I didn't get much other info. I'll post more when I hear. Cin
