Good luck on your coming surgery. My prayers are with you, and hoping for an uneventful surgery, and a speedy, painfree recovery. Keep your focus on healing. Make sure you walk, and keep up your breathing exercise. YOU CAN DO THIS! See you on the other side.

Congratulations on your insurance approval and make sure you post a picture of you dancing with your grandson when you get to that point. We would all love to share in that special defining moment.

Just wanted to say hello and good luck to a fellow Poynter! Congratulations on the upcoming start of your post-op journey. I hope it's smooth sailing for you and you are able to find lots of joy and smiles in the process. I'm almost 11 months out and down 130. This was the best thing I've ever done & I wish the same for you!

Hello everyone, I finally got my approval from the insurance company. Dr. Byrne's office submitted the paperwork on July 10 and I received approval today (7/25/02). The lady at the insurance company was so helpful. She told me that she was glad that I was approved, because she wouldn't know how she was going to tell me if I hadn't been approved. I am sooooooo happy. Now I can start making plans on my new life. Let's see... the first thing that I'm going to do when I'm able is to dance with my 20 month old grandson. I have never been able to dance with him. I have danced with my two granddaughters, but never my grandson. Now I can look forward to dancing with him (and also with my granddaughters). Dancing is what I have missed most with all of this weight that I am carrying around. So watch out world, Judy's finally getting her chance at life.
